FAQs
How Tolded predictions, points and markets work.
What is Tolded?
Tolded is a community-powered opinion and forecasting platform. It lets investors, market followers and anyone curious about an outcome see what the crowd thinks, make their own prediction and build a public track record over time.
Is “Tolded” broken English?
Technically, “told” is already the past tense of “tell”, so “tolded” is not standard English. The name is intentional. The idea is simple: when something has been told so many times that it really needs to be heard, we call it “tolded”.
Is the crowd data accurate? Can I follow it?
You should never blindly follow it. Tolded shows genuine community opinions, not guaranteed outcomes or financial advice. The crowd can be right or wrong. Always do your own research, make your own decisions and take responsibility for your own profits and losses.
What reward can I get if I am in the top 10%?
Top-user rewards are still being developed. We may introduce recognition, platform benefits, competitions or other rewards over time. Any reward programme will be announced clearly before it takes effect.
How are points calculated?
Points are designed to reward both accuracy and timing. Your entry odds are locked when you confirm a prediction. Choosing an outcome that already has a high crowd probability gives you a smaller reward if you are correct, but a larger loss if you are wrong. Predicting a less-favoured outcome gives you more upside if it turns out to be correct. Virtual liquidity is used to prevent very small early samples from moving the odds too aggressively.
What are Tolded Points used for?
Tolded Points are virtual reputation points only. They have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, transferred or purchased. Users earn or lose points through resolved predictions, and their point total helps determine their position on the leaderboard.
Are new markets added every day?
Yes. Tolded is designed to keep adding relevant questions across financial and non-financial topics. Markets may cover stocks, crypto, macro events, companies, business, technology, culture or other subjects that are likely to generate meaningful community interest.
Can I submit any question?
Yes. During the beta period, users can submit questions for consideration. Our team reviews each submission before publication to make sure the question is clear, resolvable, suitable for the platform and has a reasonable source or method for determining the final outcome.
